SPECIAL STITCH
Bind off stitches (bind offsts):
Insert hook under 2nd vertical bar and draw lp through vertical bar and lp on hook[insert hook under next verticalbar and draw lp through verti-cal bar and lp on hook] across tolast vertical bar.
SQUARE
Make 24 Squares.
Row 1: With size K hook, with white, ch 36, draw up lp in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, leaving all lps on hook, turn work and move sts to other end of hook, do not fasten off white. (36 lps on hook)
Row 2: With color, form lp and draw through first lp on hook,[yo, draw through 2 lps on hook ]across until 1 lp rem on hook, do not turn.

Row 4: Pick up white, yo, draw through first lp on hook, [yo,draw through 2 lps on hook]across until 1 lp rem on hook, do not turn
.Row 5: With white, insert hook under 2nd vertical bar from hook and draw up lp, draw up lp in each vertical bar across leaving all lps on hook. Turn work. and move sts to other end of hook.
Row 6: Pick up color, draw through first lp on hook, [ yo, draw through 2 lps on hook]across until 1 lp rem on hook, do not turn.
.Rows 7–66: [Rep rows 3–6 consecutively] 15 times.
Rows 67 & 68: Rep rows 3 and4. At the end of row 68 you will have 17 ridges. Fasten off color and continue with white yarn
Finishing:
With RS of Squares tog, working through both lps of each, sew Squares tog in 6 rows of 4 across.
